adelphi_sky
I'll give it a couple more hours before I turn the sprinklers on. I have one tree that is stressed because of the lack of rain. I was hoping we'd get a little today. Looks like the front is fizzling out as it pulls through.

I personally feel feedback will possibly come into play if we get heat again and may make it worse and last longer. Interesting the Euro weeklies showing a cooler July back in late June have a pretty warm, not BN , July forecasted now. On the flip side, seems some angular momentum changes taking place and other things evolving on the PAC side. Seems August might turn out a changeable month. JWilliam9830
Weather is weathering right now. Looks like all the activity is more south than i thought and we're getting less rain. The rain coming from the NW is also starting to peter out, except for some higher DBZs south of Harrisburg PA

NoVaWx
Just sprinkles today but got lucky Tuesday with an isolated heavy t-storm that stayed over the same spot for an hour and then an hour or two of moderate rain again the next day Wednesday. Sad to see Jeb have to go, but happy to have a good son here. Jeb, you might have a chance for more severe wx there. Plus, I've found in TX you can see most wx patterns from such a distance. I haven't been to SA to Austin area, but have otherwise found Texans to be friendly and enjoyable to be with. 20 good years wih Dad, and now more good years with Mom. There are many who might envy you, even though it's hard now; real hard. Only had a sprinkle of rain here so far. Sun was out when I started, but clouds pushing back now. JWilliam9830
The front appears to be over south central PA. Drier dewpoint risks as we head into this evening and tonight and the heatwave streak is over Edit: 0.00 inches of rain today. What an amazingly arid microclimate.
