BlizzardNole
So jealous of that juicy little thundershower just sitting over the N. Potomac area about 10 miles south of me. That must be so nice.

nw baltimore wx
I was just getting ready to go out and cut the grass when what looked like a bunch of birds crapping. It's still sunny and huge raindrops falling accompanied by a stellar strike of lightning.

Sparky
I'm watching deep towers climbing in the skies all around me with some rumbles of thunder.
nw baltimore wx
.35" in the gauge and though I wish it was more, it was a nice surprise so I'm not going to get greedy. Lots of steam rising off the concrete now and everything smells like decaying fish. I love summer.
BlizzardNole
I cannot wait for the cool Canadian air mass coming this weekend, but the Germantown desert is back and don't expect any rain over the next couple days or even Friday with the frontal passage. Just 1.8" in the last 30 days here and I've got parched grass and large cracks in the garden beds. Watering like crazy.

We now have one in AACo/western shore, based on DPs they say. I'm at 85 but getting significant clouds now. 89 Seems feasible; we barely made 94 yesterday. StormchaserChuck!
Pretty hot, I wonder if we can get some instability to spark a storm like it would on hot July days, or the day after, past.

I have a sneaking suspicion that we'll see some outflow boundary drift south from PA after dark and set some storms off.
