Wow, I'm surprised we have such a discrepancy. I just checked and .82" here so far, and while I was out there, my garden smiled at me.

Sometimes its precip totals seem low, so maybe it was more than that in reality. Another nearby station has almost 0.7".

Tater Tot
And then we'll probably have some freak heat wave in December where we actually get the July-ish temperatures. Welcome to Virginia!
frd
So far, based on storm totals the Euro's rainfall output is not verifying where as the HRR seems to be doing much better. Heaviest rainfall has been way more West then modeled. Whether that changes after 5 PM into the early evening I am not sure.

Tater Tot
This reminds me a little bit of that coastal storm we got that seemed to linger over us for days back in late September of 2008. Anyone know what I'm talking about? The wind was a little bit stronger with that one but the steady, dreary rain and the 'Feel' outside was similar. If I woke up from a coma and walked outside today I would have bet money that it was September.

osfan24
About 2 inches here. Guessing I may be able to double that total considering it should rain harder as the day progresses.
