MN Transplant
2.75" at DCA. 3.28" is the highest PWS I can find, so that is a pretty good airport jackpot.

If some locations' energy hasn't been tapped into yet, then it's certainly a possibility. The last 2 NAM nest cycles do drop a small line segment south towards DC during the early evening hours. NorthArlington101
https://twitter.com/dearle12/status/1019310562545750016/ Dang, Arlington is a big small county. Nothing close to that here.
North Balti Zen
Amazing to see those pics from the DC area. Not a drop at my house in Hampden/Roland Park area of Balt City and about five minutes of light rain downtown is all we saw to the north of there, in my part of the north of there anyway... Looks like it is just south of where 4 mile run goes under the GW Parkway, right off the southwest corner of DCA. There is someone on Waze pleading with people to back up so everyone can turn around. PrinceFrederickWx
The severe storm warning IMBY is very much warranted. 20 day rain drought is over- 1.07” and still pouring. Edit: just lost power

coolio
I'm in S. Arlington and my digital rain gauge said 1.91 when I got home. I'm thinking I need a new rain gauge. But now I see that DCA recorded 2.63 in one hour. Wowsa!
JWilliam9830
And like that the drought is OVER! With the snap of god's fingers. A wall of rain and wind just shellacked my windows.
CAPE
0.52" with the main line. The best stuff went just to my south. Still some light to moderate rain but looks to be winding down. Overall I cant complain- first significant rain here in nearly 3 weeks.

Stormpc
I ended up with 1.28 from the event. Very happy about it. A little bit of rain we had the last two days actually made a difference to the lawns before this rain came. Something about Nature's rain feeds the landscape much better than any water from the hose.

batmanbrad
if that line holds together and keeps moving (35MPH according to the latest severe weather statement from NWS), the latter part of the ASG could be impacted...

Saw some video from the ballpark when the heavy stuff hit in mid afternoon there, ground crew did a good job of keeping the field playable. BlizzardNole
Good looking, severe warned t-storm was heading right for my dusty, cracked yard around 9 PM last night, but rapidly split and went poof literally a couple miles away. Ended up with just 0.2 for the day, and sitting at a whopping 0.5 for the whole month.
