BTV beat out all are local sites for their first 80 degree minimum on record.

A significant temperature record has fallen! Yesterday, July 2nd, the temperature in Burlington, VT never fell below 80 degrees Fahrenheit. This establishes a new ALL-TIME record "high-minimum" temperature for any calendar day. The old record was 78F set several times previously.pic.twitter.com/ihdGgHtleL

Was just about to go beach, but  CI is being menaced by a cell that was not even there 20mins. ago.   Distant soft rumbling.  Dark to my north.

Steering winds must be non-existent, as cell is just sitting and shrinking away.   CI still has hazy sun, low fog,   82degs. --1:17pm

Monitoring 118.300AM to see if Newark Airport is open.   Anyone know?

Question: Is it possible that one storm can destabilize the atmosphere enough causing more storms to develop?

Most of the high res models develop more of them throughout the day.  The HDERPS has then over the entire metro area later, were it to verify.
