CMC is 5" for the next 10 days, and the GFS just 1". Yesterday, after a late start there was 10x as much rain here, as NYC. Torrential near 8:15PM. uncle W Posted July 28, 2018 Share Posted July 28, 2018 ended up with 3.07" from the storm... localized heavy rain doen't show up in the records for areas that didn't get much...this year totals are similar around the city but a lot of it came from different events...June 1962's deluge in Brooklyn wasn't a big event in Manhattan...6" in Brooklyn and only 1" in Manhattan that day...
