Geoboy645
MKX just came out with an article about the 10th anniversary of the 2008 floods. Here is the link https://www.weather.gov/mkx/LakeDeltonBreach. These floods are most famous for the breaching of the Lake Delton dam in the Dells. Some areas in the northern part of Columbia County got over 14" of rain with the maximum amount being 15.35" just south of Portage. I remember the entire marsh from Lowell to I-94 being a giant lake. This flood also nearly took out the dam in Fall River, the town north of me. This event is what got me interested in Weather. Edit: Here's the map of the rain totals for the week.
