With the 0.15" of rain last evening we are now up to 3.64" this month and 13.18" since July 1st - through today we are 13.25" above normal rain through today. Rain so far this year stands at 43.81" our average annual rainfall is 50.97" with the wettest being the 75.12" that fell back in 1996.. This is already the 10th wettest year in the last 36 years and we are only 0.66" away from matching the entire rain we recorded in 2017.

Looks like I maxed out at 92 today, so 4th 90+ degree day in a row here.  With the buildup of heat by buildings and on the streets, it was pretty oppressive out.  Currently 87 and mostly cloudy with quite a bit of cirrus. Am a bit surprised (or maybe not due to the sluggish front which is sitting way back west over Indiana), that the near-categorical rain forecasts from earlier in the week for tonight, have all but evaporated and we're now essentially down to scattered pop-ups.

In other news, the cicadas were going full bore earlier this morning and then I think they wore themselves out. lol
