Shows low 90s for the cities at best . Which will still feel plenty hot. Tuesday looks to now be possibly the hotter and more humid of the 2 . Changed Discussion -- Hot again on Tue with temps in the mid 90s and heat indices around 100F. A cold front will begin to drop south into the area late Tuesday and help spark scattered convection. The front will then stall and remain across the area during the middle and second half of the week keeping the risk of daily showers and t-storms. -- End Changed Discussion -- That is the one pattern that could mess up my parents' annual pool party/reunion in Calvert next Sunday -- not liking this part of the disco: However the ECMWF and its ensemble mean has a wetter solution by keeping the front stalled through Sunday with waves of low pressure tracking through it. BlizzardNole
The temperature is 88° but it still pretty comfortable in the shade. It sure is different compared to a couple of weeks ago – the ground is hard and I’m starting to get cracks in the garden beds. Only 0.6 inches of rain since June 3. smokeybandit
Heat advisories always amused me. How many people walk outside and say "wow, without that advisory, I wouldn't have known it was hot out" Yes I know there's a lot more to them than just letting people know it'll be hot. But it still amuses me.
