Non weather related, but we have some knowledgeable experts on here.

Say I was to make a pilgrimage to Charlton, MA to visit a local craft brewery there...on a Saturday afternoon (much like today).

Would that be totally insane?    Prob an hour line to get 2 pours then another hour in the can line?

I'm not sure Saturday is even their busiest day for cans since it's not a new release day but Kevin would know best.

Just drive the 2.5 hours to Alchemist.  Better beer imho and no lines.

It's cold out almost...had to put the jacket on even in the base area at work.

Hovering around 59-60F at 1,500ft and windy on the east slope.

Even the lower elevations are only 60-65F.

Yeah it's MEX data, but assuming it's not way off, this is pretty tolerable. Pushing Sep by the end of this period so climo is working its magic.

But only the JV version.  I've not been in "The Armpit of the East" (for both its summer climate and its position in the Bay) during July/August, and never wish to be.  However, dews 80+ in early Sept 1965 were just wonderful for full-pads two-a-days.  I doubt it's gotten cooler since then.

I know first hand it wasn't! Where did you play? I feel like we definitely had this talk four years ago

I think so too.  Played at Hopkins 1964 and 65, after which my GPA dropped low enough that I had to make other plans.  Freshman team was undefeated in 64, varsity 1-6-1 the next year, and only a major upset against W. Maryland in the final game prevented a winless season.  There was a reason the varsity lacrosse coach took frosh FB, and varsity FB coach did the opposite.

Fwiw, arrived at 135, had Very Green cans by 2 and a pint of Doubleganger by 220.  Saw at least 50 nice dogs in line and even a cat!

I have to drive to Logan tonight so I scuttled the plan.   Still need to get there

I have only been 2 or 3 times in the last 12 mos but it's been pretty organized and the lines move.

We headed out maybe 5 minutes before the line of thunderstorms arrived and I assume there must have been some havoc as folks scattered.  It came down in sheets for a few minutes there.

So nice out. Cloudy and 69/64 with a stiff NW breeze. Perfect wx to clean out the garage. May need the hoodie later.

It's funny because it's gotten up to 68/62 (maybe a high in the 60s) now but the dews are just enough to take the chill out.

I almost feel like the 74/52 was chillier or crisper two days ago than right now.

X and I swung in during June on a Saturday and waited maybe 15 minutes. I think they were closing early for an event though, so that might've had something to do with it.

I have a wedding to go to in early September in Waterbury. Stowe isn't that far away!

Once you get to the doors they even have little sheets you can fill out with your order. I've still only been twice though.
