Now they have all these different standardized options. I originally had used the STDEV.P function which I guess will still apply here. I'm going to take an online course in excel lol A/Z and Z/A. May have to get them onto the visible toolbar if they're not already there. (Maybe that's not news...)

TalcottWx
I applied to NWS to become Logan's official spotter. Not sure my schedule will work. I imagine a retiree is much more up their alley for a role like this.

HIPPYVALLEY
WTF is up with all of the early school dismissals over some hot weather? 91F for a high here today, expecting similar or just a little higher tomorrow. Hmmm, perhaps I will call in sick and tell my boss it is too hot to work.

HIPPYVALLEY
Interesting air mass, the brunt of the heat is definitely S & E of here. We can often roast with the best of them but today topped at 90F at home and maybe 92F downtown but already down to 78F imby. Sure it's still DP's in the low 70's but feels like, just a warm summer evening, on a train bound for nowhere, maybe I'll meet up with a gambler? It really didn’t feel that hot at work today but thats right on the LI sound with a good breeze. If winds die down some tomorrow it will be nasty. KFIT on,y managed a 92,so that is probably what my building was at. It will suck tomorrow to be sure, but it is part of the job. I don’t think we have ever closed/left early for heat. Cold a couple of times (maybe once with a couple of delays?). That’s over 19 years If you said it was too hot they would just pour you another. Warm to be sure but nothing oppressive. It's the evenings that have been bad with the limited cooling. We'll see if today's worse like they've been saying. Either way, it's done after today. Typhoon Tip
Well... my car's 'dash pinged 82 twice en route to work this morning between 6:30 am departure and 7:15 arrival, which makes that the warmest ever along that commute in four and half years ...and per course, that includes the heat wave of early July.. It was 76 in the driveway and 80 at the parking lot at work... It was 82 up along 190 and then again 290 heading E out of Worcester around 7:10 That's up there with the warmest I've personally seen at that hour in my life, actually, between southern Lower Michigan and Massachusetts... I was no longer residing in Michigan during some of their bigger heat waves they experienced, such as 1995 or 2012 and so forth, so the distinction is more centered on Massachusetts for me personally. As other's also noted ... very impressive elevated diurnal. I wonder what the max(min) records are for the date - EDIT: ah, thanks Brian!
