I wouldn't suggest being on top of a mountain with no shelter as a severe t-storm comes through, but that's just me.

Whineminster
I can hide under the deck of the skier offloading area at the summit. I can run down it in 15 minutes to my car though. Basically I just want to see the anvils as they come in, catch some sick C to Gs while having a Wally, then scurry down before they blow through. 5 minutes ago, Baroclinic Zone said: Is there a place to go in case of severe? OceanStWx
I also love GOES-16. When you loop the meso-sector you can actually see the flanking line rotating. The Cu forms and moves north, then "rolls over" to the east.

OceanStWx
I can't remember if I said it this morning or not, but all this action is on the OFB from morning convection. That sort of reinforced the already present warm front.
