TDS in NW CT?

Nope. While it was close to the area of the couplet the CC drop was all in clear air. General rule is that it’s correlated with the couplet and reflectivity>50dBZ in the CC drop bins to be debris.

0-3 on the severe.  Had a 10 minute monsoon from the cell that just moved through but very little lightning and almost no wind.  These things keep looking like they are coming in hot and just fade as they approach CT River.    I don't love severe but was at least hoping for a good light show or some hail.

Sfc winds have backed a lot of sites in the past hour....ORH to CT River. Decent helicity pooling in that area.

And the supercells are ingesting that now over CT. Not often you see 50 dBZ over 40 kft around these parts.
