LSC97wxnut
Mostly uneventful here in the Newton area. sadly. Real heavy downpours between 11:30 and noon and that was about it. Was blissfully unaware of the excitement in central MA as we were at our daughter's (indoor) swimming lesson in Brookline. I don't think I even heard a rumble of thunder and now it's just a couple of showers around.

Haha no but was at an event for Ten Bends Brewery (a friend owns it) for their two year anniversary party. Completely off-topic but Oddly enough on the drive home in Stowe the wife and I saw a Berlin or Barre City Police (couldn't read it fast enough) unit pull over a vehicle on RT 100 in Stowe, and then we passed a Montpelier PD unit on the side of the road...and for the life of me I couldn't figure out why those two departments would be up here, 30-45 minutes away doing traffic enforcement. I wonder if the Stowe PD were using them for back up at Brewfest. One of my co-worker’s husband is a Stowe police officer. I won’t see her to ask for a couple of weeks though since I am officially on vacation until the 20th.

The Brewfest is pretty heavily patrolled for obvious reasons...large amounts of intoxicated people there for the sole reason of drinking beer. Yeah the models actually were in worse agreement with this one than the overnight ORH county tornado a week ago. This mesolow was definitely weaker but got the job done. Of interest to me was the SPC mesoanalysis was undergoing the SRH significantly. The objective analysis had <100 at OKX at 12z but the morning balloon launch had nearly 200. That really jumped out at me. All morning we saw a bunch of small mesos and one finally went to town.
Modfan
Does anyone have radar scans from the tornado yesterday?
HoarfrostHubb
The Webster tornado is being classified as a high end EF-1. The pics I saw made me think EF1 or EF2. Was there ever any debris ball signature? Interesting that that small area has had three in a short period of time.
