ma blizzard
picked up 0.67" so far from the storms .. couplet passed couple miles south of me. Talked to my dad who lives close to the center of Grafton and he said nothing interesting happened where he was at. Looked like the rotation really weakened as it moved into this area. TalcottWx
Looks like the line is a really broad meso. Definitely a wind threat along the embedded bow

Couplet keeps tightening then loosening, if the line weren't so messy rotation might redevelop south of pike Other than that cell, there isn’t much of a wind signature. My guess that’s why there isn’t a need for a large SVR.

Scott the line south of Long Island has a stronger wind field with it according to the models with a strong low level jet of 35-40 knots

Typhoon Tip
"Horrific" ? eye rolling... I had wind gusts like that here yesterday without a warning... Well, almost that high anyway - although, much of NH was strafed by tors and severe, yesterday, without a Watch, so... It was, however, one of those deals that was anachronistic - so to speak. I mean, morning... slate gray... cool relatively so... BAM.. But as Scott or whomever said, this wasn't really based on the 'checklist' - more mechanically forced perhaps.
