Lava Rock
That is a nice slug of moisture off to the west that will be moving in here.0.11"Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
TalcottWx
This is a great setup for the East. We should be very well destabilized. Rarely does timing work out like this. Sunshine right now and absolutely scorching hot in Dorchester.

Very cool looking sky, if nothing else. Was pretty cool to see it come in over the range.

Could put east under cloud debris until line further S moves into area. We'll see.

Looks like southern Franklin gets the 7-10, with a flood advisory up near Jackman and lots of downpours to the south. Hope there's a 2nd act behind this one (nothing on radar yet) because those light greens over the home front look like maybe a tenth or two. KoalaBeer
Trying to decide to stay put here in Methuen hoping that cell by Leominster really pops or taking a quick drive north to Londonderry area. I Just got back home from walking the dog, might be to late to catch that warned storm north of me anyways.

Yeah, that RA+ moved through here pretty quickly and then stalled to the East over your area up toward Orange.

KoalaBeer
Quite the big Flash Flood warning NWS Boston put up for eastern Mass. Torrential rain here but no wind to speak of. I see it time and time again that one good warned storm goes north through Derry and another south through Littleton/Westford. Such a good spot here for big numbers in snowstorms but I got a shield for any storms in my neighborhood.

Drying up a bit as it moves NE up here, Looks like there is more upstream trying to get going so we will see if that can blossom, Its to bad we had no sun to destabilize this area more today. So even though the outflow is well ahead of the current storms, we'll have to watch for additional development near the boundary.
TalcottWx
This has potential to be a rather troubling situation for urban areas near BOS. The line is nearly stationary and there is miles and miles of heavy rain training over the same areas.

wxeyeNH
Looking at the radar the line of storms is becoming oriented E to W through Mass. Convection seems to be building and bubbling back north in W Mass. Could some type of mesolow form along the front to stall the boundary from moving south. Almost seems like that is happening? I think what is going on is that the prefrontal trough is now roughly parallel to the mid level flow, so it is stalling out. And now we wait for the cold front to kick things out.
