Reporter Mike McCormick, Photojournalist Aaron Smeltzer. Awful for the WYff team! Yeah that sucks. Back in the old antenna days, wyff was my go to source for news/weather. Came a flood last night...Got nearly 4 inches of rain altogether. and looks like one of the feeder bands could impact here most of the afternoon. My backyard is a swamp right now from all the rain. I hope we don't get any kind of wind in the next few days.
SENC
73.7/81 for Our high today.. Good rain chances today;; This lil tidbit from Our local NWS Office.. Wilmington which is sitting at 14.36 inches of rain for the month, by far, a record for May. If Wilmington can get 0.64 inches of rain today, reaching 15.00 for the month and almost 6 inches above the previous record, that would put the city at 5 Standard deviations above the mean for May. (400% above Normal)..
