Cold Miser
2" In Brooklyn. I thought this was supposed to be a non event? This seems to have fallen in line with what others have said would happen. Much better than earlier in the week when it seemed like rain south and a pike north deal for snow. Wont last but fun just the same

powderfreak
Wintry appeal. It's not even wet snow given the temps and I bet ratios are like 12-14:1, haha. Snow blowing off roof-tops when the wind stirs, dry as it's mid-winter. Eyeballing 1.5-2" so far. Watching the Masters and watching it snow. powderfreak
What a weenie location J.Spin is in...still surprises me even knowing it. His NNE post stated 3.3" on 0.23" liquid as of an hour ago. Walpole Joe
Like all of you, I love snow. But I'm done, I just want to give my lawn a good rake, is that asking too much? Probabably 1.5 here today with the huge flakes so ground covered again. Will melt quickly tomorrow, but raking not gonna happen

wxeyeNH
About 1" of snow. Underperformer. Temps were 30 to 31F during the event even from the start so no melting. Our roads were finally salt/sand free but that just came to an end again with tons of salt/sander that went by. So no clean cars until the next rain event. Urrgghhh! Yeah, good point on the stacking though – the liquid analysis has the hard data, but a great visual tip off is that fluff cap atop the stake that literally goes off the screen at the top. Ha, that's the first thing I noticed. Tell-tale sign of good snow growth and absolutely no air movement.
