All of those spring peeper calls from a few days ago have resulted in numerous balls of slimy frog eggs in the drainage ditch behind the house. The males make the calls in attempt to attract the females. Looks like it worked! These eggs will hopefully soon be hatching into tadpoles.

You need one of these: https://www.walmart.com/ip/Swimline-Pool-Critter-Escape-Ramp/26624826?wmlspartner=wlpa&selectedSellerId=1187&adid=22222222227018226783&wl0=&wl1=g&wl2=c&wl3=40330235792&wl4=pla-78288457952&wl5=9002995&wl6=&wl7=&wl8=&wl9=pla&wl10=112549749&wl11=online&wl12=26624826&wl13=&veh=sem

Frogs consume tons of annoying insects like mosquitos, flies, and the like so they are a huge asset to the ecosystem.

Some peepers, probably most from wood frogs.  The size of those blobs suggest the much larger woodies.

After a few years working in DC, I've moved back to CT to settle down and take the next leap in life. It feels good to be home.

Looking forward to tracking SNE wx with you all again. The downslope dandys, middle finger of death in the valley during the winter, missing on tropical and (most) severe, and the occasional wintertime nuke.

:)

Welcome back, what town

Who is stuck as Tony Eason?

He had a couple of really good years. 3rd and a 4th in passer rating early in his career, but he was never very flashy. It was all downhill after the Bears loss.

Worst QB performance in SB history, 0-for-6 with 3 sacks and a fumble, for -29 net yards.  Grogan was only a bit better when he replaced Eason.  Part of the worst blowout of the 52 games - not by point spread but by the Bears' absolute dominance.

Norfolk maybe, but not Norwalk. Norwalk is down on the coast in the southwest panhandle, Norfolk is up at 1400 in the NW Hills.

That's what we really thought but we were looking through some archived information and it was listed as Norwalk but we didn't believe it for a second
