Figured as much, I have been boating on Winni a few times but never came across that one but figured there had to be one, Every lake has one basically at some inlet/outlet, Usually just spend most of my time at the Naswa............. Total failure of our justice system. Wonder what the judges who seemingly let this guy off with very little time and time again think now that a young cop with a family is dead at the hands of this dude. Total failure top to bottom, this guy should have been locked up.

Maybe that’s why they have all the accidents in Tolland. Seems CT is full of billboards for strip clubs and such the last several years. All sorts of them through Hartford area and Tolland. Baroclinic Zone
What a sweet day. Drove down the coast from Kinvara down to the Cliffs of Mohr. Also did a tour of Ailwee Cave. Roads are extremely narrow and speeds are way above what one would consider safe in the States. “Backroads” are 80-100kmh. Pictures don’t do the cliffs justice. They are immense. We got a local tip to stop before the standard cliffs tour and we’re able to walk down a walking trail to the cliffs. The winds were coming from the left in the picture and were creating showers offshore from the orographic enhancement. a bit further up the coast we saw a small roadside stop an there were smaller cliffs but the waves were where it’s at. Huge breakers that were running 30’ every couple minutes crashing into coast. Got some video of that. And the last part of the day that was phenomenal was the drive thru “The Burren”. Best way to describe it is like the White Mountains of NH above treeline. Similar landscape but created in different manors.

We are just N of it so we drove south thru it along the coast than back north through the middle of it. Bare knuckle driving too. Roads are one car width in some places for miles. Bare knuckle driving for sure. Getting used to everything being on opposite side doesn’t help
