Thanks Don. I remember April 19 1983, it was raining and cool, and I was amazed to see snow mixing in the early afternoon. It became all snow early evening and snowed 4"imby (Delco) overnight. I think Chester County got 8".

I think I remember this. I know it was April. I had an afternoon paper route after school. It was a rain/snow mixture leaving school and when I jumped on my "Huffy" to deliver papers around 4-5pm it was just about all snow. I cared less about working as I was enjoying the snow!

Dusted off my old April scribes for insight:

1983

April 18 Snow in the morning 2" 48F

April 19 Wet snow and windy 4" 34F

April 20 Snow flurries  45F

April 25 Drizzle and windy with sleet late in the day 40F

April 28 Sunny and 84F!

1982

April 4 Snow showers and windy 36F

April 6 Snow 6" 32F

April 9 Snow 1" 33F

How strange is that for back to back years?
