39F here now (and for the last hour or two). Waiting for it to start rising but probably not much early tonight. Stormy outside! Could be pretty interesting overnight, especially later and early tomorrow morning. Did you rescue the trash can, or "let it slide"?

Sure did. We're going to get nailed early tomorrow...I don't want to look like idiot chasing a trash can down the street.

Looks like the heaviest of the rain is done and am seeing breaks in the clouds with blue sky coming in from the south and west.  There are some additional scattered showers on the radar west of here that might come through over the next couple hours if they hold together.

At post time, received 2.43" of rain for today so far (2.86" 2 day total).

I may have been part of the reason why they issued it.  They issued it literally 5 min after I called in and asked why a Flash Flood Warning was not issued and then reported how this road was flooded with a couple of inches of water flowing over it.

LOL

I was sitting here reading and suddenly my weather radio + both cell phones went wild.

As an obs note, I didn't get anything from the scattered showers that were west of here early and the temp is now on the downswing after hitting a max of 65.  Currently 55 and overcast.

That's only if that holds together!  It's been pretty scattered and dissipating most of this afternoon as it approaches and I haven't received enough to tip the bucket since earlier this morning.
