Just now, The Iceman said:

One of these years I need to say **** it and head to the Midwest for 2 weeks in May to experience a real thunderstorm. 9 out 10 severe threats here fail even in good set ups.

The ground is still chilly despite the air temps.  The real strong storms come in July here with a strong CFP.

Definitenly hit a 50+mph....rain kicking in. I'm the idiot on the porch...

Lol, can't see you from here (that's where I like to be too until lightning gets to about 400 yards away - that's my cue. That distance goes up a little the older you get).

Actually I think I hit above 50mph (gust) at the beginning...it almost blew my laptop off my knees.

Where do we get official wind totals? I think we'll see some pretty good ones...

Oddly enought I'm seeing a nice sunset but still reciveing solid thunder/lightning to my E.

Overall this T-storm gets a 6.4917 in my book. Not great but not bad. Good wind, thunder and lightning...solid rain. What killed the score is it never raised complete hell! Solid overall but never completely kicked ass....

You may have to wait until they update the PNS but you could go to an airport site and look at the data.  There is one LSR published so far - https://www.wrh.noaa.gov/total_forecast/getprod.php?new&prod=XXXLSRPHI&wfo=phi
