mdhokie
Screw this wind. Hired some guys to install drywall in my basement and of course it has to be windy. Couldn't open the windows to vent the dust because it was blowing everything back inside and upstairs.
yoda
Just was out umpiring a coed softball league game... had to do a 1-2 count to start the innings since the wind was so bad for the pitchers instead of the usual 1-1 count - both coaches agreed with doing that. Hopkins won 18-9 over Mason. Its CAN league softball btw

BlizzardNole
I disconnected the heater from the birdbath last weekend - -whoops! It had a quarter inch of ice on it this morning. Looking forward to a really nice weekend in the low 60s with sun. OT: if anyone watches the show "Designated Survivor" -- the last few episodes they have shown shots of the White House and DC with snow on the ground and snow falling. LOL it looks like DC's a snow town on that show.

North Balti Zen
Counter-point, it is still too cold for a lot of people for this time of year. Me included. I took a long walk at lunch around the harbor, covered 3 and a half miles, and with the wind it was downright cold. So...not perfect, not even close. We're about 14 degrees low from a normal high for this time of year.

North Balti Zen
I'm seeing winds out of the NW at 14 gusting to 28 in obs from the weather service. That comports with what I experienced walking from middle of downtown down to federal hill and around to the harbor and back. It was cold. Not sure where you are that it is a light breeze. That's great for you. Truly. For others, it's not as swell. It is what it is. The 10 day forecast has below normal highs the entire time. DT just tweeted that May looks cold. So, those that like it cool should continue to be pleased. Those that wanted warmer spring temps will likely be disappointed. Hopefully the wind backs off at some point so even on the cooler days it doesn't have the bite that days like today have.
nw baltimore wx
I’m a little worried about what 95 is going to feel like this summer when today’s 54 feels really warm in the sun. Granted, I’m in a semi protected area from wind and I’m brewing beer (doublespeak for tossing a couple back) but it feels pretty good out here. Of course, I’d like it about ten degrees warmer and no wind so I could get out and enjoy my bike, but considering what we’ve had, today is a keeper.
