I really hope we don't see last minute trends that start pushing the front earlier and more aggressively. I agree. If we can get to 6pm that's a win. My wife and 2 sons are going to Fenway for the Sat 1pm game. They may need summer clothes to start the game and winter clothes to end it.
Brian5671
NAM remains quicker with the passage of the BDCF-this is 2pm Saturday-by 5pm we are all in the 40's. (other models are much slower with the front not coming through til the evening hours.
Juliancolton
Hi-res NAM has the front south of me by late Friday evening with lows crashing into the low 30s through Saturday afternoon. That kind of CAA would be impressive from a meteo standpoint but I didn't think I might only get one day of warmth this weekend.

I would say the Nam is out of it's mind but in these scenarios it's probably better equipped to see the low level cold seeping in vs. the globals. That's a strong high to the north as well. Santa Claus
Breezy and warmer into the night. Is this warm air advection, or just the crossing of a warm front? To be honest I thought WAA had to be associated with flow in front of an approaching low.
CIK62
Next 8 days averaging 55degs., or 3degs. AN. Right now I have 59 (was 50 at 9pm, last night) and skies have a thin overcast. Very breezy, sand not flying around yet on beach.

SnoSki14
Nam has us in the 30s on Sun afternoon with a chilly easterly wind after near 80F temps on Sat. Tomorrow is still close but it looks like the front will come through the evening hours, allowing us to salvage most of the day.

BrooklynSnow
I was in prospect park this am, and saw around some dissipating showers mammatus clouds. I would say this was around 830am. Anyone else see them?

SnoSki14
That BDCF looks wild and it's trending stronger the closer we get, gfs shifting towards the Nam. Nam is still about 3 hours faster with it though. The metro should start to feel it after 4-5PM and more so past 8 given current trends.
