Surprising lack of details given by just about any news outlet locally. Bradford county storm was destructive, lots of flattened structures. In WB township it had to at least be strong F2, structures heavily damaged, cars flipped and tossed, debris strewn all over etc.

I was at a church fire over night so my eyes are heavy, but i just looked at about 300 pictures from the WB area and the destruction. It had to be an F2 (or greater) a lot of damage to a Panera Bread and other buildings.

Anyone who has Facebook "should" be able to see these pics as they're public, and I was able to view them through a share. Quite frankly (and we'll have to wait for the verdict from NWS Binghamton to be sure) I don't know how the severity and nature of the damage there wouldn't have been from a tornado.

W-B might be a microburst rather a tornado ... we’ll se what NWS rules in a day or two. Terrible damage regardless, winds had to be over 100.

I am NOT any sort of expert on severe weather, but there were some radar images last evening where it looked evident of a signature hook on the southwest flank of the storm up there.

My uneducated thought looking at the radar was "my God, that sure looks like a tornado."

Horst thinking it looks like about an EF2.

Damn, that's crazy. I didn't see any radar images last night - I didn't even know it was storming anywhere east of Altoona until I saw my friend's photos of W-B on Facebook. Thank God I didn't post "BUST" to the storm prediction since no one here in the valley even saw rain.

Off topic but @Voyager if you want NYC suggestions let me know, we are there a ton for work and Broadway.

Good luck in the new role - I think you’ll like it!

Thanks! I actually did pretty good for not being in Manhattan in over 15 years. Came out of the Lincoln Tunnel, hit 42nd St and then up 8th Ave to 50th where I drooped the group off. After picking them back up, I went over to 11th Ave and rode it down to 40th St and got back into the tunnel for the ride home. I'm sure it helped being that it was a Saturday and not a weekday.

Weather-wise, it's been a few years since we had a heat advisory issued for our area. Usually Berks and Lehigh Counties have them, but we don't. I guess it's going to be pretty soupy out tomorrow.
