ChescoWx Posted March 22, 2018 Share Posted March 22, 2018 So With the 13.5" of snow that fell from this last storm we are now up to 30.3" for the month here in Chester County Pa. This surpassed the old March record for monthly snow which was the 27.1" set way back in 1914 local records (1894 to present). Also of note the 13.5" storm represents the 4th largest March snowstorm in our history with the top 3 being - 3/20/58 - 19.0" / 3/14/93 - 16.1" and 3/11/1907 - 13.7". This month also marks the 1st time we have experienced 2 individual snowstorms that have exceeded the 10" mark during the month of March...with the storm on the 6th/7th of 11.5" making this reality. Overall our seasonal total is now up to 55.7". This is the 14th snowiest season in Chester County in our 125 seasons of record.
