Yeah, I have to agree with you there. It keeps thinking it will fall apart and it keeps failing so far.

Just gotta keep hearkening back to what Scooter and Will said today about the heavy snow band on nw fringe and models would miss it. If they’re correct , that would be on BOS - HFD - DXR points SE line

.NEAR TERM /UNTIL 6 AM THURSDAY MORNING/...

*** Higher confidence of heaviest snowfall across Rhode Island
and interior southeast MA where greatest risk for isolated
 power outages ***

630 pm update...

Steady snow has overspread eastern CT, RI and SE MA but not much
further north as low level dry air holding firm. Based on
minimal snowfall so far near Mass Pike and CT valley and latest
hi-res guidance cutting back on QPF in the interior, we lowered
snowfall amounts outside of RI and SE MA. This resulted in
warnings being converted to advisories for Hartford, Tolland and
southern Worcester counties.

Forecast unchanged for RI and SE MA where heaviest snowfall
expected.

radar suggests its snowing pretty good from Branford down to Stamford.  Any ground truth fellas?

It's snowing. Not quite heavy, but it's real snow now as opposed to the random flakes alternating with nothing that's been (not) falling all day. So, an improvement.
