Also in Easton. Pretty disappointed.

Any guesses where we finish up?

At best another inch. However with the 2 last storms combining for 19.5 this is a pretty amazing March.

Agreed this storm was a dud. Cannot believe the great EURO had us at 6 to 8 inches this afternoon.

Only a handful of places got the high end totals, far more got much less. Most of the reports in the immediate metro area are from what fell this evening.

I think we have at least a few more inches left to come..some good bands heading our way and several more hours of snow at least

same here i have no idea whats going on the news channels said heaviest snow is going to move in during the evening but i have seen nothing but flurries and light snow

The lower tier of NY into the Hudson Valley and CT has been in serious subsidence all day. That includes Southern Bergen too. I’ve flirted with it a few times but the longest lull was for an hour late this afternoon.

I didn't see if it was posted

NEAR TERM /UNTIL 6 AM THURSDAY MORNING/...
Impressive snow band with snowfall rates of up to around 5
inches per hour is currently across Long Island.Another band
extends through some of the CT zones, so will leave Winter Storm
Warnings unchanged at this point. Banding is associated with a
deformation zone and is aligned just west of a trough extending
north from a 700 mb low center located east of the Del-Mar-Va
peninsula. Expecting the bands to linger mainly east of the
city for the next few hours as the 700mb low shifts ENE.
Thinking most rates within these bands will be in the order of
2-3 inches per hour.

The writing has been on the wall for a LI JP since last night. Not surprised. Jersey shore did well too.

NJ areas to the west of SI struggled most of the day until things opened up around 5 pm. Reports of 9-11 coming in from Perth Amboy, Metuchen. That isn't bad for late March. If you asked me at 3 pm I would have said it wasn't possible.
