ers-wxman1
Glen Cove. Average measurement of 5.5 inches. Moderate snow. Heavier bands moving in. Should be getting into prime time stickage and rates between 8 pm and Midnight from central Suffolk to Nassau.

I might be exaggerating, but not by much. This storm seems to have literally been made for the 5 boroughs. This one seems almost like the inverse of two storms ago where I drove from Brooklyn, where it was sleeting, through Queens, where it was raining, into Nassau where it was snowing intensely. Wetbulbs88
Around 6PM it seemed like there were four separate talon-like bands that didn't know whether to rot out or merge. For a minute it seemed like they were gonna rot but now they're making a comeback and they might consolidate. Exciting stuff.

lovewinter
Montague, NJ, 34 degrees, pretty much no snow. A few random showers throughout the day, but there's next to nothing on the ground. We still have a WSW, but now it says that there is a sharp cutoff and northwest Sussex County may get less than 2 inches, which I'd say is accurate! That just means it’s getting colder on all surfaces and it’ll be more dry snow rather than the wet big flakes. Usually that’s a good sign if you ask me!
