Thanks - you too! Here's hoping you have a save ride home in heavy wind blown snow!

Moderate snow in Horsham with 2” already on the ground, the storm is right on schedule if not ahead of models!  I’m not sure what some of you are whining about (it’s making for a really difficult read), this phase 2 of the storm as modeled, was supposed to start around 8am, and gradually pick up intensity until about noon, where heavy snow would begin.  The roads are also nicely covered already which was apparently not expected.

Fwiw, this isnt the mashed potato snow here that I was expecting.....definitely more fluff factor than I thought.

Yup, pleasantly surprised by the consistency of the snow so far, saw it blowing off a neighbor's roof a few moments ago. Hopefully it's closer to 10:1 ratios and we get better accumulations as a result.

Just released... and on target. 28 degrees and powdery here, unexpected.

...Major winter storm beginning to take shape...

A wintry mix of rain, sleet, freezing rain, and snow will
transition to all snow from west to east during the next couple of
hours. Snow will readily accumulate once snow rates increase late
this morning and especially this afternoon. Travel is strongly
discouraged.

$$

Currently SN- with smaller flakes but still dense snowfall.

There you are.  I literally just said to myself, where is RedSky and you appeared! :D  Radar is showing some heavier returns in upper Bucks.

Honestly I listened to road traffic and looked at amount of light through the blinds to prepare myself for another March disaster but not this time, this time it's neither sleeting or snowing light.
