Yeah an upper band of lots of moisture recently exploded into existence and is moving to the NW. Just have to make sure the r/s line stays out in the ocean. http://weather.cod.edu/satrad/exper/?parms=subregional-Virginias-10-48-1-100-1&checked=map Am up to 6.5" (with compacted sleet underneath). Redmorninglight
Point and click upped us from 2-5" to 5-9" storm total. I don't get it at all. This area really sucks at waiting for cold and backend snows. Just light snow and flurries since we flipped from light rain and sleet around 3:30. Sitting at 34f. Is this a case of the low being tucked in too much? Ala Jan 16. Is there something I've missed? BTW congrats to those that cashed in.

sibbley
I'm thinking 5+ here in Nazareth. I haven't measured, but the septic riser in my back yard is 5 inches higher than ground level and it's completely covered. The image is from a few hours ago. I couldn't post it then due to the forum issues. Still coming down pretty good at 31F.
