Jebman
Looks like a deep green band is developing just to the east of the District. It will likely continue to stream up from the south in that position for the next few hours. Locations to the east of DC will pile up impressive totals. Wow that big swirl sure moved east a LOT overnight!

Good news is we’re accumulating on to the left of it. i'm not entirely convinced and i'm honestly starting to think that 12z euro run might have been pretty decent. that closed low isn't moving northeast, it's sliding just south of us. that's a really good position for this area. the coastal low/front could be a little further west, but it also might have caused more boundary layer issues, so pick your poison with that. i wouldn't be surprised if short term guidance trends a little better for us the next few hours. Joshfsu123
My rates haven't really changed even when going from bright greens to yellows... right now in more greens and the rates are as good as it has been for past 2 hours. Snowflake size changes a bit but the snow has been falling at a moderate/heavy clip for a while now. Probably still an inch an hour rate easily and the snow is piling up quickly. Will measure again in a few but pretty sure i'm approaching 3 inches at this point (SE DC)... we've lucked out with the heavier stuff so far.
