The amount of radar improvement since 3am is pretty staggering. This hobby takes patience and willingness to fail 5000 times before you get one right.

Radar looks spectacular and I love that it’s a daytime event.  Sleeping thru a snowstorm is overrated.  The precip shield from the ull to the west is now showing connection to the coastal low/trough off the coast.  That ull drifts towards us and we basically snow the entire day.

Snow has tapered to light flurries. The little bit that was on the side road is now melting. DC and Arlington are just east of the big band - don't know if they'll ever get in it.

Chill a little bit, we’ll get into it. I do appreciate the fact that we are the last to have darker greens fill in on radar though.

Starting to come down nicely in Silver Spring inside the beltway. Some patches of coating on roads, and our front walk is covered. Snow is accumulating on a nice coating we got last night on grassy areas.

Same here, similar location. The flurries in our little dry spot turned into solid SN-  and there's a visible white layer on the icy crust from before.
