This hobby takes patience and willingness to fail 5000 times before you get one right. Radar looks spectacular and I love that it’s a daytime event. Sleeping thru a snowstorm is overrated. The precip shield from the ull to the west is now showing connection to the coastal low/trough off the coast. That ull drifts towards us and we basically snow the entire day. snjókoma
Snow has tapered to light flurries. The little bit that was on the side road is now melting. DC and Arlington are just east of the big band - don't know if they'll ever get in it.

ErinInTheSky
Some sort of banding setting up between Manassas and Frederick. I think that will be one spot of localized maximum snow if it gets established.

ArlingtonWX
Only very light snow in N Arlington. Tiny flakes. Street just wet. Outside it looks like a car-topper event right now but fingers crossed we get into more heavy rates soon.
