BombsAway1288
I wonder where that guy is from last night that was saying how bad a model the euro is and how the CMC is the best. Wonder what he thinks tonight after the euro gave him a foot of snow lol

Except the last one was NOT doable. As was the Blizzard of 2011 or the Grammy Week Bombogenisis storm of last February. But this one is.

NorEastermass128
If this one and Sunday works out, the general public will completely lose it. Being met by U10s this morning was a nice punch too.

Baroclinic Zone
Bottle up the Euro/NAM/GFS for here. We'd be pushing 80" or more on the season after that.

CT Valley Snowman
GEFS will improve again both aloft and surface with increases in QPF distribution as it now gets 0.5 well up into CT
RUNNAWAYICEBERG
The trends have been to slow the second part down and tighten up the trough with much better interaction between the multiple shortwaves. The stronger confluence trend is actually helping coastal weenies from throwing their rain guage in disgust.

With the thawed ground, They really have no choice but to roll up the edge of your lawn like carpet or gravel, Guys up here biatch about this all the time. Damage In Tolland
Thawed ground and grass?? There’s full pack . 6-12” at least up to the Pike seems likely with 3-6 NW of that. And if the north trends continue.. we’ll bump totals up. Looks like start time is Wed night which will help valleys and coasts stick to roads

Yeah, Really not much they can do in March but fix it in late spring, They interviewed a few plow guys up here and that was there biggest peeve on the local news and they said as hard as it is to plow this time of year, They have to explain it to their customers and most understand about ripping up the landscape. ORH_wxman
Good trends again. Would like to see the lead S/W weaken even more or get sucked back west a little into the main second wave. That would allow us to achieve more WAA snows on the front. As is, we mostly just get CCB/deformation stuff. Nothing wrong with that but it would make the event higher impact if we got in on good WAA snows.
dryslot
That would be ideal if it happened as it would expand the qpf over a much broader area, Right now, A few miles could separate areas from 12" to 2".
