I know it's only 1 model but I have to admit I'm starting to worry a little bit. Still just wet pavement. Probably over done if you're not under a nice band 6 hours of daylight to go... Streets getting covered again. Beautiful dendrites - this must be at least 10:1 ratio snow.
NJwx85
Intense band is organizing right along the Hudson River, extending down to Plainfield, rotating Northeastward. Conditions should continue to deteriorate over NE NJ and the LHV. Finally sticking to pavement in the last hour in these parts.

Gravity Wave
I'm not joking now, they really need to get some new servers. Anyway, mod-heavy snow for the last 90 minutes here, with impressive snow growth.

To anyone who said snow wouldn't accumulate in the city with less than 1"/hour rates, my 4" and counting say otherwise. We're just getting started. Wetbulbs88
Snow growth is incredible for the last couple hours. Went on a walk with the dog for a long while when we were between bands and at some point the needles switched abruptly to huge dendrites. Beautiful snow. Oh stop, the site only goes down once or twice a year. It's free to use so I wouldn't complain. The admins and moderators do a lot of work to maintain it and there isn't much more they can do short of charging all members a membership fee to pay for bigger servers. loadletterpaper
Been all snow in Rocky Point except for maybe 20 minutes of mixed ping around 12:30 I think. 4" exactly on patio table. Local roads front of house are 2" of slop. Been moderate last hour though flakes have gone smaller just recently. Intellicast radar continues to look good to me. North shore, just east of the OKX radar blind spot. Looks like upglide has been favoring north of LIE to LI Sound out this way, starting from reasonably persistent dry south of LI. Now you'll be mocked because you say it's not a KU. I don't see why anyone is shocked and why the can't see this. There's no where near enough precip from this point on to see anything serious. SnoSki14
4 minutes ago, Enigma said: This storm is a huge under-performer. There's no other way around it. Snow growth has been really poor, rates should be a lot better than they are given the radar. However it should start to improve as insolation declines and temps may drop a degree or so.
