Yea they did but for the second wave. The first wave looks done at this point. We want a weaker 1st wave so the heights on the east coast can sharper up to allow for the 2nd wave to move up the coast.

Agreed... from the looks of that the SLP would move NE up the coast.
Ace
Hope we see the other guidance move to a Canadian type solution for the 12Z runs. Just for fun here is the extended 6Z RGEM. Pretty good look but just eye candy at this point.

Ace
The 12Z Nam has our lead wave a bit slower at H5 through 30 hours which makes me wonder...Last nights Canadian did not really separate the two waves but combined them into one

Also notice that the confluence is not as strong this run.
MJO812
Nam is trying to phase the other low now into wave 1 It's also north of 6z. Less confluence.

Yes I just never saw the possibility of a two separate wave solution... a phase in could result in quite the storm for the area.
Ace
H5 on the NAM looks like a mess lol. Its completely different from its last run.
MJO812
This still might miss NYC but it's alot further north than 6z. Now we wait low 2.
