LikesNaturesFury
Wet snow, possibly with sleet (because you usually can't hear snow falling and I can very much hear the sound of precipitation). Cumberland/N Smithfiled RI. Good night.

LikesNaturesFury
At the risk of being flamed for posting too often, I didn't see your post, Pike. For whatever reason I didn't get an audible on that one. Good night & sorry about my report.

Its been raining for hours... Time to sleep. I'm feeling an epic bust!

HullMA
Upton radar is absolutely gorgeous, that band hitting the cape as well. Just an amazing display of mother nature. Looking like im going to flip to snow any minute.

Leading edge moving into se nh goes from 1nothing to pound town in miles This reminds me of Dec 1992 given the start as rain and predawn flip...granted not nearly as much rain, but wow...went on a weenie walk and was overwhelmed by nostalgia. I think cape is going to have accumulations cut. Slushy coating down....34.2.
CoastalWx
34. Wet snow but nothing yet. I did say numerous time some of this is lost to wet snow/mix on the coast.

henry1978
The radar has been deceiving. Webcams and southern coastal obs show more rain than snow so far in areas where radar returns suggest its been snowing.

henry1978
So far precip rates have been underwhelming. This is March folks and the antecedent March 1993 airmass aint walking through the door. It better start ripping when the sun comes up.

Had my typical weenie wakeup, was hoping the band at 130 would have flipped us so we could start accumulating, but the first three hours have yielded the lightest dusting on grassy surfaces now. We've definitely lost a couple tenths already, and will lose more to poor ratio and slow accumulation till we get going. This is as expected. It was modeled too, I just don't buy catching up entirely, which is part of why I've been pretty confident in betting the under down here. Hoping my next wake up is that Christmas morning feeling. I certainly have the anticipation.
