We got about 5" in that band.  I hope it sticks around longer over you.

Glad to hear it. It's beautiful out now. That light baking powder we had earlier has been replaced with heavy gorgeous dendrites. Hoping for the pivot now. Fingers crossed.

Wow. First I've seen a radar image today. Looks like Brooklyn was getting pounded.  But here in Manchester, just near Hartford I can definitely see how we were in that area of weakness.

Wouldn't be at all surprised if you were closing in on double digits back home

Disappointingly only 2 inches or so in the backyard here in Narragansett. Wind is whipping though and raining down ice chunks from the trees.

The famous southern rhode island snow hole has been particularly venomous today.  Everyone is getting significantly more except BID, MVY and ACK.

N RI is getting crushed...and adjacent SE MA like near our butterfish poster....gotta be near 10" in those spots now. Our poster up in Mendon was at 9" in extreme SE ORH county where they've been persistently under good banding.

:facepalm::facepalm:    Annnnnd I'm in FL.

And I NEVER lead the storm race.  Ever.  Heck I've never Won an event either.  The double storms in January 2010 which I was NOT home for was the time I won (5" & 8" for 13").

Animate OKX radar . West is moving east and east one moving west. Pivot point

I see it too...looks like my side of Worcester should see it soon. Meantime snow has lightened but still moderate temp down to -3C/27F been going down slowly all morning. Wind here is 10 mph near surface, but stronger up in the tree tops.
