I mean, 3/3/14 is the benchmark for cold snow in March. Of course it happened in early March, but it was in the mid teens during the day IIRC

I still remember that late March storm in 1984 when the Colts left town. I was living up in Carroll county then. Was about 6" I think. Super wet compacted snow.

Yes, around 5" at both DCA and IAD. Nothing like what the Euro is showing, but it was firmly below freezing at both airports during the morning event.

Yea, ops this far out in time only have 1 thing you can actually analyze. It has a storm or it doesn't. Not one specific detail other than that means a damn thing

The track is a little north for my liking but the storm is still there.  Doesn’t look like a lot of gulf influence but that could change with a more southerly track.
