Yea it’s too far out to know which wave is the actual threat but there’s  definitely some blocking around.

GFS gave up at hour 156 and had no idea what to do next at least that is how it looks. Needed an upgrade..

CMC is a lil better... but likes just west of the I-81 corridor and into W MD... but then into PA... another 100 miles S with the low transfer and we would have done well

CMC drives SLP into western W VA and transfers just north of ORF

I don't know what to even think about that run. That was crazy.  Gfs, cmc and icon all have the second piece of energy behind the first low on Tuesday. Looks too complicated to ever work out for us. Lol

Last snowshower gone at 216hrs.  Right as the outer band from the first low are hitting the UK.

So with a completely different and less impressive look up in Canada/NA than we had just a few days ago, GFS now has another iteration that somehow produces a snow event for the same general time period. Sure I'm down with that. What could possibly go wrong? CMC seems to be trying to do something similar, and ICON gives us snow. GAME ON.

Some years it just wants to snow   ....it looks like BOS finally got tired of being greedy with the storm train and decided to kick the low down to OBX to share after 162.

GFS pops a full latitude transient ridge out west downstream of the big trough off the west coast. CMC has it too but a bit later/further east.

Lets see how stable that feature is in future model cycles.
