yoda
Is it just me on IWM, but does the coastal formation take a lil too long in its transfer phase?

Its such an outlier..its hard to be taken seriously...how many times have you seen the GFS just lose a huge storm in the 72 hour window It's been trash since the upgrade. I'm not kidding. It jumps all over and is wrong a lot with major amplified big ticket storms. If I was a forecaster it would be almost useless to me. Many times all its done is add noise. That's not to say it can't be right this time. But it's not useful because it's so inconsistent there is no way to know. It's been over amped a lot. Then a couple other times it was too suppressive. Imo they broke it for our purposes of tracking specific discreet threats from a IMBY pov. Btw how did we become the cheerleaders in here all of a sudden? I'm still skeptical but I've not changed much today. I'm not writing this off at 72 hours out and a system only 100 miles south of us on most guidance. ErinInTheSky
... I mean, why not? I already jumped off the ledge. Consider my jumping a sacrifice to all of you, considering the snow woes have existed since I move here, and the second I jump, we get a well placed coastal transfer, an amped up storm, and a much better system overall. WeathermanB
Judging on what i'm seeing 90 hr out, Delaware gets some rain after a couple inches of snow... then back to snow again with another 4-6''? Am i wrong?
