Greg
What really killed us though was the long delay in turnover. Had this turned to heavy snow between 4 to 7 instead of 7-10 we would might have done much better. We'll see what deform and better nightime ratios can do for now. Brian, what do you have in Northfield? This has been too bandy for many of us who expected higher totals and tightening the qpf field too quickly. TauntonBlizzard2013
That heavy band literally flew through here, looks like another lull or dryslot may get us. I feel comfortable saying this isn’t going to happen here. Can’t sustain any good rates. Feels cheesy because there's definitely less than that on paved surfaces, but there's no drifting and I measured the same thing in a bunch of spots so I think it's legit. I'm sure it'll be a mess early tomorrow morning, but you never really know what you're going to get with the Nashua plows.

Looks like it would be pretty good but ground truth is really mundane. The fractured nature of he precip isn’t going to get it done in this area.. that is for sure. This time of year people are less likely to clear their mailboxes of snow too I've noticed. I don't see much reason to stay up any later the way things have transpired with this system

OceanStWx
It's interesting, this is the second recent storm that has featured 1"/hr rates up here with really pedestrian visibility. Lots of 3/4SM across our forecast area, but it's still stacking up nicely (sorry Dendrite).
DomNH
I don't think we're going to see anything Earth shattering so I think it's time to call it a night. I'll hit my foot. Puking snow right now.
HIPPYVALLEY
Outside of the lottery winners in the tri-state area and the patient folks in the N Berks and S VT, this will be forgettable for many. Too much banding, too much wasted qpf and moving too quickly.
Greg
Some of you should read what Weather the people in Taunton are saying. Tonight it's between the dryslot and the mid-level fronogen, that isn't depicted by the weather models well that will be the deciding factor in snow fall totals now.
