Something to watch though because it's going to be hard to sustain rates good enough for widespread 12''+ if we have a shredded radar all night. I think its going to remain banded. Just want to hit my 8" call.

Yeah I think the show for you down to Ray and up through SE NH is that big slug moving north and east of Provincetown right now...you can see it just aiming straight for NE MA as it curls back around the flow. That should igve you a pretty nice 2-3 hours of really good rates I think....we'll see though...sometimes this stuff is unpredictable as we all know. TauntonBlizzard2013
Dumping again here. Hopinf that heavy band over me.. the one south of RI.. and the heavy stuff coming just west of Martha’s Vineyard find a way to link up
Typhoon Tip
that is subtly ironic ... No sooner did Will and I comment on it, rad starts acting like this entered decay - hmm. Definitely fragmenting, but also, the rad motion is slowed down. Hard not to wonder if this thing maxed already as a system.. In any case.. 8" here. Snow now S- .. 30 F
#NoPoles
Mitch has 30inches in SVT. And he just keeps getting clobbered by a sick band!

weatherwiz
Actually what was the time of that 23'' report? From when I took my measurement until now I wouldn't be surprised if we perhaps tacked on like 4'' or so. Going to measure now...not going to get much more accumulation
Thunderblizzard
Light/moderate snow. 32F If only that band were 10 or so miles east.

You can't see how it's elongating and changing shape on IR. It's enlargening, elongating, etc.

I'm at 5" and you have been getting the bands before the hills in Shutesbury and Pelham rip them up heading NW. I'll be disappointed in my totals but fun storm to watch and understand snow growth. Hernia baking powder here. Euro kind of nailed the precip shadow and it was a weird one that actually affected pretty high elevations east of here. Can't afford any extended periods of it snowing upwards.

Yeah if we can't get a uniform +SN shield it's going to be tough to see the big totals. You'll go from ripping to all of a sudden looking at the streetlight and seeing the snow dancing around instead of falling and then back to ripping. There was a storm several years ago where we were forecast 1-2' and had a banded radar all night and I ended up with a measly 9'' of baking powder.
