Upton thinks this is out of here in CT by 8-10?

Snow banding tapers off from SW to NE this evening, between 6
and 8 pm for NYC metro, NE NJ, and Lower Hud, while 8 to 10 pm
for LI/CT. Thereafter, NW gusts of 25 to 35 mph after midnight
in wake of the storm with drying conditions.

Obviously 18 Rgem doesn't miss, but it does tick the low southeast, a trend that it's been having for several runs now. I'm just wary of systems escaping further southeast with every run.

I'd like to transition from rain to snow before I worry about a south trend.

Just did my first shoveling. This would definitely fulfill Kevin's paste fetish, but not his accumulation fetish (that's a rare combo). In my mind, it's sort of like what rich people in Beverly Hills get when they buy themselves a white Christmas. Absolutely pounding out there. Power will become iffy for sure if this keeps up.

True lol

Yeah this is getting me antsy... coworkers going home looking at me with amusement about my 6-10 call for Boston.

I know it wasn't really expected to change before 7pm on most guidance, only the HRRRs were tempting us with a 5-6pm flip

But there is good consensus that once it flips, it goes to town 9pm-2am.

Not according to Chief MET Ryan H.!!  That seems way to early up here.
