I just had flurries the other night.  I could see it looking much better to the south and south west on radar.  Some of the southern state parkway traffic cams made it look like a decent accumulation.

Some good snows occurring here so let's see what happens.  I dont hold much hope for tomorrow but any snow in March is a definite bonus for these parts.

Call me crazy, but I saw about 3 flashes ( of what appears to be lightning?) in the sky at about 3:35AM in Mellville, LI. (Extreme western suffolk). I looked out the window, and saw the last flash.. it's only snowing light to moderate and I did not hear any thunder. Is this type of convection possible so early in the storm?

car tops and grass/trees have half a nice coating.

crazy!:lol: quit playing with the light switch, just checked radar no lightning near us.

I work for Suffolk’s 911 center and that was a transformer that blew
