Light snow here.  it started before midnight so that makes 6 straight days here with snowfall (3/2-3/7).  Nothing to show for it.  is that some sort of record?

Temp = 36F

I was about done with this one.  Just when I thought I was out, they pull me back in. :gun_bandana:

I had .3” the other night with that surprise event. It was a solid coating. You will find a way to get a foot up there as you always do. Snow capital of LI

Its a torchy 39 degrees in Long Island City. Had a rain shower move through earlier - winds out of the Southeast.

Expecting some action to begin after 2am. I doubt we wake up to anything covered - probably most of the snow, if its not torching, will come in after noon.

Wunderground forecasting 2 inches tonight, 8 tomorrow, and 2 more tomorrow evening.

From your lips to gods ears.

I just had flurries the other night.  I could see it looking much better to the south and south west on radar.  Some of the southern state parkway traffic cams made it look like a decent accumulation.

Steady light snow here.  Not moderate, but decent.  Ground is coated.  Temp is down to 34.8, so not much wet bulbing.  It was 36 before the snow started.

I spoke too soon about the wet bulbing.  S- / 33.6.

1.3F drop in less than 20 minutes when I thought we were done dropping.  Snow had lightened but is getting a little heavier now.  Decent dendrites too; we had some graupel mix in for a while earlier.

Down to 33 with lots of nice snowflakes swirling around and a white ground (barely to be fair...but changing for the better).  last ob...going to bed before downsloping off an airplane or a disruption in the thermohaline circulation or something ruins it.

If this was my misspent youth (instead of my misspent adulthood) I'd expect to wake up to a rainstorm, but these are heady times...
