North Balti Zen
At GBMC waiting on allergy shots w/ my kid and it just turned to big flakes here - Towson area for those who don’t know the area.
NeedaSnowday
Drove from Columbia to Timonium... All the major highways have been brined... It was sleeting as I was on 70 & 695.... it's snowing here in Timonium right now!
Fozz
It’s been switching between snow (big flakes and sometimes good rates) and sleet/groupel. Just drove from Owings Mills back home. Hearing some pings for now, but not a bad start to this event.

AfewUniversesBelowNormal
RAP is pretty lucrative, about 1" QPF here. NAM 0.75-0.8". It's nice out, clouds are thick, cold. Probably low 30s

Looks like Philly just misses the good stuff by a few miles according to the RGEM. Same with Baltimore for that matter. If temps come into play like that run suggests, then the gradient could be really tight.

osfan24
Looks to be a close call on the WAA snows on radar. Might slide just to the east for most of us, but too early/too close to call right now. Definitely a nice precip shield to the south though.

smokeybandit
It was odd driving home in driving snow...and it being 42. Of course, the typical Maryland driver was driving as if it was 22, not 42.

Hrrr keeps shifting east and now is a complete miss here. I know it sucks but shouldn't it be trending the right way as we get closer not the wrong way? Does it suck at 3 hours too? I'd feel better if it wasn't the only new updated data until 0z guidance and it wasn't a complete disaster for Carroll. It clips Baltimore good though. Crazy back edge only it sets it up 30 miles east of everything else.

The euro/gfs combo with a side order of nam/rgem blows the hrrr away. No doubt in my mind.

WxUSAF
Folks, you couldn’t pick a better hill to die on then the euro giving us a full on snow job with 12 hour leads. I’m on top of that hill, naked, ECMWF flag flying proudly waiting for my snow. If I die here, so be it.
