the whole evolution seems apropos crawling and slowly redeveloping south of SNE. Low pressures don't move they constantly redevelop

Agreed. I think there will be more of a North-South gradient as well, due to the system tightening up as it approaches SE SNE.

NAM precip totals are very impressive.  It use to be that the rule was to knock down the NAM's qpf  like 1/3.  Does that still apply.  Does it run wet in general?

That doesn't look like a big hit at all...only a couple of tiny areas over 16", and under that for SENH and SME
