Winds are also veering with height which is also adding lift. This could definitely get interesting fast.  Everything has closed off further to the North than first anticipated it looks like, as well, but no real difference except maybe for Toronto and our friend OB!

Yeah most guidance is adjusting this beast a tick or two Northward it looks like which bodes well for almost this whole sub-forum.  I think this may be the first time a swath of over a foot goes clear across the state from KBUF to KALB and from Central Oswego County South to the NYS border where more of a mix will probably occur but not in the catskills and the So. Dacks should get a pounding it would seem.

Similar to our '91 ice storm... Sounded like shotgun fire every minute for hours. No wind.
